Lil' Angel

So I got a couple new sets of Bombshell Stamps this week. Have I mentioned I'm in love with this company?! So without further delay:
So the card is pretty simple, and was not really time consuming to create. The base is a piece of scrap pink card stock, followed by a piece of brown cut to 5" x 3.75" and then a piece of Basic Grey's Gypsy line. The ribbon is from Michaels, one is a generic brand and the other is *sigh* ... Martha Stewart. (So, I'm not a fan of Martha... I never really have been. I do however like the look of her products, and this ribbon I couldn't pass up.)
The white border was cut with a Fiskars punch that I bought and wasn't sure how well it would work. Every time I've seen something like this on other blogs, the border comes out beautiful each and every time. For me it took several times to figure out that I couldn't use really thick card stock. And even with the thin paper I had to press REALLY hard. I'm not sure if that is normal or not, but that's what I had to do.

The stamp is on PTI White Shimmer cardstock and colored with my Tombow markers. (I only have like 6 colors, but I currently can't afford much more at the moment.) The wings and heart are Stickled! Because every angel needs some glitter. It was such a cute stamp and I couldn't pass it up.

Thanks for stopping by!!
