The Color Pink

192,370 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed in American women in 2009.

With this fact in mind, and the fact that it is Breast Cancer Awareness month, it is time to look to the other people in our lives and tell them that we care. There are people in my life that have been affected by breast cancer, I admire their strength and courage.

So for this month, I offer you a challenge. Get involved. Donate Yoplait lids, when you go to the store donate when the checker asks you if you'd like to give $5 to cancer research, go to this site: and pick something. Anything. Encourage the men in your life that pink is a very manly color this month (Hey! If football players in the NFL can man up and wear pink then any man can.) This is our chance to get involved, here's what I'm going to do. For every comment that I receive this week on my blog I'll donate $1 (Up to $100... cause that's what the budget allows this month ladies) to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Now what are you going to do?

  1. Love how you have her holding the ribbon. Great effect. Hope you get lots of comments.
