So for years, my mom has been asking me to make a family tree for the living room. So I logged onto Ancestry.com and did a little research - and went through old family documents, pictures. And I came up with this decorative piece for the living room at my parents house:
All of the plates are filled out, I photo shopped out some of the names for my family privacy. The cards were printed out on my computer and are affixed with photo corners to allow for switching do be done when more information is found. Each plate is mounted on foam squares to lift them out a bit. The frame itself is really cool - and the front of it is hinged to allow for easy access to the names - when more research reveals more information on each member.
And that was my month in a nutshell - each night working on pieces of these five projects! Whew - what a month. Well now I'm back to getting my Etsy store stocked and running again - so there will be more posts. Talk to you all soon!!!

THIS is a very cool project! I've been trying to come up with a display of business cards of mine, my father, great and double-great grandfather.
