My Little Corner of Heaven on Earth

So, as every crafter knows - the place where one creates is the most magical of lands, a haven, a sanctuary.  Well I thought you all should see mine, because I love looking at other people's spaces.  I spent all weekend cleaning between my naps and only when the cold medicine was in full force.  I pulled everything out on the floor - sorted it into appropriate categories and then placed it all back neatly on the table.

So here it is:

I may eventually do a video tour, but this is the main part of the room.  My amazing uncle built the table for my Grandfather - I then inherited the table after he passed.  I have a whole post on my Grandfather and his influence on my crafty nature - here.  So this table is very special to me.  Now I made some additions - like all of the white cabinets (gotta love Target)  And the white shelf that goes over both of the towers to hold even more stuff.

I made this slide show for you to enjoy (which I found out after all that work that it doesn't play here on the blog - so I'll have it open in a new tab for you - and it repeats, so if you see the whole table like you do above, then its over :-) ):

If you would like a video tour - I'd be happy to do one - it just means that I need to clean the other side of the room :-)

For tomorrow you'll get to meet Seifer the Cat! - Until then.
