Remembering To Post

Good evening all! Well I had my monthly crafting book club tonight at Capture. There were so many new people! It's great to see so many folks getting interested in paper crafting! And the Office, how about that Andrea.. I was laughing so hard!

But then I remembered, I haven't posted today... and though I know people are stopping by I don't know how many are reading. I guess I can't expect too many in my first week, there are so many fabulous crafting blogs out there that mine is just a drop in the ever growing bucket. Now if I'm posting too much of the same thing, let me know! I'll change it up. If you like what I'm doing, let me know so I can keep going. A little encouragement goes a long way.

On with tonight's post! So at book club I happened upon the new Basic Grey Bittersweet collection! And was I ever in love... I just had to buy some of the pages. Absolutely to die for! Here I used Vanilla Fudge across the bottom, on just a piece of pink cardstock. The stamp is Papertrey's Remember set, also amazing stamped in Cherry Blossom and Leaf Ink from Technique Tuesday. The brown dots are Cinnamon Stickles. The brads are from the Paper Studio, and the ribbon I think I got half off at Michaels.

I colored the leaves in with Prismacolor Colored Pencils that have to be as old as I am. I think I got them from my Aunt when I was little. They are in a zebra striped box that is all torn to shreds, but the pencils still work as well as they did when they were new! It doesn't have as much sparkle as some of my past cards, but the simplicity is what makes it special!

Thanks for dropping by!
