Post Christmas Crafting Countdown - Day 4

The Bristow Box

So every now and again, I find an item that I pick up with no idea what I'm going to use it for. This box was one of them. It was just a paper box that had an accordion insert. It had been sitting here for about three months and I finally had an amazing idea. My sister has the cutest dog - and she adores him, so I made her this:


The paper that I used for the entire box was Basic Grey Max and Whiskers. I painted the box in a metallic blue and distressed it a bit... and then decorated the insert like this:



Pretty neat huh?  Oh and the cat - that's Miss Magoo, she's modeling the finished product for you.
