69' Chevelle

Holy moly, what a busy month I've had! Its been super crazy at work, and all of my little extra projects have been keeping me busy for the rest of the time. But I did however have a chance to make my dad a card to go with his birthday present, and I'd like to share it with all of you:

It turned out amazing didn't it?! One of the newest stamp sets from the ever wonderful Bombshell Stamps collection titled Vintage Raceway. Colored with Copic Markers on PTI Stamper Select White. The car is actually embossed in black ink before it was colored to make it as dark as possible. I wanted all of the details to completely stand out in this amazing stamp. Seriously! Click on the image to see all of the fabulous detail!

The white background is actually aged a bit with inks from PTI's Vintage Touch Inking System and it added a lot to the look of the card. I used a sponge to ink the color straight onto the card stock after I distressed the edges a bit. The image is matted with PTI Smokey Shadow and then on top of the base red from Basic Grey's Lime Ricky collection. The card itself is Kraft Cardstock from PTI.

Enjoy! And thanks for stopping by!
